House moving all done, still a bit of teething issues but we are getting there. Who would have thought house-moving can be this stressful. I have learnt loads of patience during our move and I’ve also learnt yet again that things never go as planned no matter how organized you are.  But I am a mum so I should have mastered the art of coping with stress. I guess my family can only do so much roast veggies and salads. Today it’s a Spicy Chicken Pasta Recipe, my kids favourite comfort food. Do you ever wonder why buttermilk is used in baking? Well I certainly didn’t understand it much myself, all I knew was that when buttermilk was added to my cake batter I produced a perfectly moist cake. That’s all that matters right. But it’s always good to expand our knowledge in the kitchen and when your guests say “wow, that cake is amazing”. You can then go on to explain the science behind buttermilk…..haha, don’t think your guests will come back after that boring science lesson.
