Easy Lamb Tacos
My 10-year-old has been literally driving me crazy about tacos. Seeing we are going away soon I thought I should make it so I can free myself from guilt.
I was dreading making them as I thought it was such a tedious task. However, these Easy Lamb Tacos did not take much time at all.
I actually enjoyed making them and my precious child told me “Mum it’s so delicious, better than the one they make at Salsa”.
If you didn’t know Salsa is a local Mexican Restaurant. I don’t eat lamb so I wouldn’t know but I will take that. Salsa also doesn’t have a Lamb Mince Taco on their menu but he has tasted the Chicken one.
We love Mexican food, I guess because it’s spicy. I made an Avocado Salsa and a Sour Cream Sauce to go with the Tacos. I did not add any cheese as my kids are not too crazy about cheese. But you can add some to your tacos if you love cheese.
The mince filling is also sort of a dry filling but if you would like it a bit more saucy maybe add some tomato paste. My kids prefer the dry filling. I also used store bought taco shells, makes life a lot easier.
Whilst I am typing this out my son is eating his Lamb Taco and it smells so divine, I’m drooling. Pity I can’t eat it. I think from the time I’ve made it this is his fourth one already.
Omg, I hope he’s not going to eat anymore or he will explode…Lol! I’m happy when my kids love my food.
He’s also eating it with the Avocado Salsa so that’s a good thing. He’s getting some veggies down too. The older one has not been eating much, probably trying to keep slim for his new girlfriend.
Next time I am going to make some Fish Tacos so my hubby and I can enjoy it too.
