Ingredients
2cupspowdered milk
1&1/2 cupicing sugar
150mlfull fat milk
3tablespoon buttersalted or unsalted is fine
Instructions
Place the powdered milk, icing sugar and milk in a large bowl. Use a whisk and mix until a smooth batter is formed. If the mixture seems too thick add a little more milk.
Heat the butter in a pan, on medium to low heat. Add the batter to the pan and mix continuously with a wooden spoon or spatula, until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan. This process should take about 5 minutes. If the mixture still feels runny after it's cooled add a little more powdered milk.
Remove from the stovetop and allow to cool. Shape them as desired and store in the refrigerator.
Notes
This burfi is made with milk as the name suggests. However, if you wish to substitute the milk with cream you can but it's no longer a milk burfi
Please use proper measuring utenstils, I cannot stress this enough. Often a recipe doesn't work due to incorrect measurements.
