Elevate your everyday is not just about material stuff and pretty things, it’s raising our vibration and altering our state of being. It doesn’t mean you’re happy every minute of the day, it’s empowering yourself with a positive mental attitude and finding what’s true to your heart. We are all made up of energy so when our vibration increases we feel happy and positive. When our vibration decreases we feel insecure and depressed.  When our vibration is raised we become in tune with our feelings and choose how to respond to situations, it’s how we make more loving decisions for ourselves. Here’s just a few ways you can Elevate Your Everyday and Raise your Vibration:

 

GIVING

I don’t know about you but I get so much joy from giving. I am no martyr and I am by no means perfect or totally selfless. Giving also doesn’t always mean something tangible,  it can be a smile or a kind word.

Say something positive to someone having a bad day, give someone a compliment or bake a cake, well not if you bad at decorating like me….haha!  Let’s try cookies then to brighten someone’s day. Make a little care pack for a family member or friend that’s going through a rough patch. Make some muffins and hand it to the guy selling newspapers on the street corner or a sandwich for the homeless.

HAPPINESS

Doing nice things for people really does feel great. Researchers have discovered that giving and doing something nice for people has real mood-boosting benefits in your brain. I myself feel so much happier when I do nice things for people. This Chinese proverb rings true for me “If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap. If you want happiness for a day, go fishing. If you want happiness for a year, inherit a fortune. If you want happiness for a lifetime, help somebody”

SMILE

When you smile it boosts someone’s happiness.  I am so glad I was born with a smile on my face. When I see someone the first thing I do is smile. It’s not always reciprocated but it gives me joy to smile. It definitely elevates my mood. Did you know that smiling relaxes your body and it lowers your heart rate and blood pressure. Isn’t this a good reason to smile more? “A simple smile. That’s the start of opening your heart and being compassionate to others” – Dalai Lama

STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF

The best thing you can do for yourself is stay true to yourself. Social media allows so many of us to put on a mask, Imagine what a burden it is to wear a mask everyday. How can anyone stay elevated trying so hard to pretend to be someone you’re not. What we need is to be truly authentic. Yes we all want to be accepted by society but sometimes it’s easier if we start accepting ourselves first. Speak honestly, no matter who it is. Surround yourself with people of integrity and don’t hide your character just to be loved. That’s far too much pressure. It doesn’t matter what other’s think of you. Stand up for yourself and what you believe in. Always put yourself first.

EAT HEALTHY

Eat foods that nourish your body. Fruit, vegetable and nuts have a high vibrational frequency so eating them makes us happier, aware and more positive

GRATITUDE

Keep a positive and humble mindset and don’t ever take things for granted. Appreciate the little things that are in front of you and focus on the positives. Give thanks everyday for all the good in your life, no matter how small it is. Savor your everyday experiences, be thankful for just being alive and experiencing that moment. Show people that you appreciate having them in your life. Say thank you, this is one word I use the most and I love showing people that I truly appreciate every little thing they do for me. I love sending little thank you messages or buying people a little gift to show my appreciation. It elevates my mood when I see that they appreciate that I took the time to show gratitude.

Have you every practiced gratitude. When youre having a bad day or a bad moment just stop to think about the people that are so much wprse off than ou and remind yourself of all the good in your life, see how quickly your mood is lifted when ou shpw gratitufe

POSITIVE

I know  there’s so much negativity around us but lets try to focus on the positives, we need to float above the chaos. It’s how I get through my days. I try to look for the good amongst all the bad around me. If I don’t I will certainly not survive the stress. Surround yourself with loving, positive people. Limit the negative media. Counter your negative thoughts with positive affirmations.

LAUGH

There’s nothing better than a good laugh, it improves your mood and elevates your energetic state. Have you noticed when someone tells a joke how it changes the whole mood and energy in a room.

DE-CLUTTER

I find that a cluttered home adds to my stress level. Try to de-clutter your home and your office and you will reap the benefits of a higher vibration.

FRESH FLOWERS

Flowers always puts a smile on my face and improves my mood. You don’t always have to go out and buy the most expensive bunch, pick a few flowers from your garden and place them in a vase. It will instantly lift your mood.
