Creamy Feta and Chilli Dip
This Creamy Feta and Chilli Dip has become a regular in our home. However, I could never get my photos for this dip to look blog worthy…..I think I still need a lot more work on my photography skills but this was the worst photo of the lot.
Finally I think it looks better than any other I have captured so it’s time to post. Someday soon I will start taking better photos. We bought a professional camera before I even started blogging but I was too afraid to use it. I’m not great with technology so I used my old faithful iPhone.
Finally I have booked myself on a course to learn how to use the camera. I think that’s a good start. I did try using it a few times but I kept messing up the settings and eventually I gave up again. All this technology is far too much for my little brain.
Took me a while to figure this whole blogging thing and I still have loads to learn. But I keep telling myself I am not quitting. We can’t always throw in the towel when things get tough….I wish my kids would learn that too!
We had these crispy delicious deep-fried Grissini with our dips at a restaurant, it was so yum I had to try and make some my own way. I know deep-frying is not always recommended but I used my Easy No Yeast Naan Bread recipe, rolled the dough out, cut them into triangles and deep-fried them. It was heaven, crunchy with creamy!
I suppose you will notice when I’ve upped my photography skills so watch this space….Haha!
You all probably know by now that we love Greek food and ate at almost all of the Greek restaurants around us. We order the Feta and Pepper dip all the time but my husband says my Creamy Feta and Chilli Dip still tastes the best. I think it’s the chilli flakes that does the trick. He loves chilli so much that I think it’s the only ingredient that can tantalize his taste buds….Lol!
So for this dip instead of the peppers I add some chilli flakes, not too much. It has just enough chilli I think. This Creamy Feta Dip is great as an appetizer or a snack but sometimes my hubby even eats it as a meal if there’s enough Pita Bread. It’s so delicious that you can’t stop eating it.
If you are crazy about dips you can also try the Black Olive Tapenade
