Growing up we never heard of a dish called Jalfrezi,  If we wanted spicy we had to settle for our mums South African way of cooking, it’s the only way we knew. My mum definitely makes the best Fish Biryani, there is no doubt about that. I always found it challenging cooking this dish to perfection but I am getting there.
