Peppermint Crisp Tart is a popular dessert here in South Africa. I am quite certain than almost every cook/chef has some version of this dessert. We love it because it is such a simple dessert to make with just 4 ingredients, how much easier can it get. The other bonus is that you don’t have to bake it, pop everything into a dish and refrigerate it for a few hours. I usually make this Peppermint Tart in a rectangular dish and cut them up into squares when I’m ready to serve. You can also make them into little individual desserts….

House moving all done, still a bit of teething issues but we are getting there. Who would have thought house-moving can be this stressful. I have learnt loads of patience during our move and I’ve also learnt yet again that things never go as planned no matter how organized you are.  But I am a mum so I should have mastered the art of coping with stress. Although it’s been a while I’m back in the kitchen, not a totally complete one but good enough to cook from for now. I made a very Easy Raspberry Jam with fresh raspberries…
